Beacon Electrical was Founded in 1976, and is still a Local Family Run Business. Originally established as an Electrical Wholesaler, Beacon has evolved in to a premier Retailer selling all aspects of Electrical and Gas products from light bulbs right through to Washing Machines and Televisions.

We are incredibly proud and honoured to once again be the Front of shirt sponsor for Plymouth Argyle Men's Team season 2025-26 , We first sponsored the club in 1983 when we were the club’s first ever front of shirt sponsor and have been sponsoring the Club continually over the last 42 years, following on from being the first ever Front of Shirt sponsor of the Plymouth Argyle Women's team the previous season 24-25
This isn’t the first time Beacon’s name has appeared on the front of an Argyle shirt. They were shirt sponsors during the 1984/85 season, a campaign that saw the club reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup, etching both Argyle and Beacon into the club’s history books. Now, four decades later, the partnership comes full circle.
Already long-standing supporters of the club, Beacon took on naming rights for the Grandstand at Home Park in 2023, and more recently backed Argyle Women throughout the 2024/25 season by becoming their front of shirt sponsor. Now, Beacon continue their dedicated support by taking the helm as the men's front of shirt sponsor.
With over 17,000 fans at Home Park each matchday and national TV audiences tuning in throughout the season, Beacon’s visibility is set to grow even further not just in Plymouth, but across the country.
But it’s about more than just branding. Beacon have consistently shown their commitment to the community, from engaging half-time takeovers to fan-focused social media giveaways, reflecting the same values that run through the heart of Argyle.

OCHC is Plymouth's newest club. It was formed by the merger of some of the oldest clubs in the city: PGSOB; Mannamead; Plym Valley; Devonport Dragons and Lipson Lions.
OCHC has teams for all ages and currently has 4 Men's teams, 4 Women's teams, Juniors, Vets and mixed Teams to provide and promote accessible opportunities for people to participate in hockey for all ages, genders and abilities.
