Our house is very small but has three levels - basement, ground floor and first floor. Found the dehumidifier that I wanted for a good price at Beacon, I hadn’t heard of them before so I looked at some reviews online and seemed like a good company, so I purchased online, got free delivery and item arrived a couple of days later. The actual dehumidifier is very good, works a treat, takes lots of water out of the bedroom where we had damp. Overall very pleased, great service, great product, would definitely use Beacon again.
When I ordered the dehumidifier I was given a rough delivery date of around 10 days later. In fact it was delivered in around 4 days. Great service.
This little machine has been fantastic. It has removed so much water from the house and the laundry setting is incredible. Instead of a few days on the air dryer, the washing is dry in a day. Brilliant!

Unfortunately the unit was extremely noisy and I was advised to contact Meaco who asked me to send a recording. ( I already have the same model which is reasonably quiet) They then emailed a label to return for exchange using a local DPD pick up shop. I received a new unit a week later which thankfully is much quieter.

This my second purchase of the Meacodry Arete because I was so impressed with the first one I had to get another for downstairs. It's excellent on the condensation issues and really good for drying washing. Much cheaper than the tumble dryer.
